What Home Means To Me
Home means safety, comfort, and warmth. My nan in the kitchen helping me make warm meals. My pop in the living room probably watching some old tv show. My room is where I listen to music on my Echo and relax. My home is my happy place, a place where I can feel sheltered and very safe. I walk out to the bathroom to get ready for school in the morning, and I'm grateful to have a roof over my head and floors to put my feet on. My room is warm with smells of roses and cherries. All my plushies lined up in a row with my LED lights on rainbow strobe, my echo playing faintly in the back, and I look around my room and see a memory in every place. I see my desk remember how excited I was to get it. My bed reminds me of how I used to put stickers on the bedframe. I see my shelves that I helped my dad put up. My walls are painted pink and blue that fills the whole room with life and color. These are all the things that make my home feel safe, comfortable and warm.
