My Homes Are Special Places

First, I want to say that we may think that homes and houses are the same, but if you think about it but they are very different. A house is a shelter, it is just a place in general. A home is more than just a place, it is a place where you feel safe and special, you have memories in a home. I have two homes, one of my homes is my dad’s home, and my other home is my mom’s home. At my mom's house, I have a gray fluffy bunny named Hazelnut. I have two cats at my dad’s house, my dad named our cats funny names, one is a girl and her name is Toad. She is a tortus shell, and the other cat is a boy and his name is Frog. He is a big, fluffy gray tabby. At my dad’s home it's just me, my dad, and our cats. At my mom's home it’s me, my mom, her best friend that is staying with us for a little bit, my 3-year-old brother and my bunny. At my mom’s home I have my own room, and I have a canopy and beautiful fairy lights. At my dad’s house I have my own room, I have a hidden closet that I turned into a secret base with fairy lights that chang colors, pillows and blankets. Me and my dad have a big back yard with a big tree for climbing, we put seats on some branches at the top to relax and watch the view. We made a swing on a cherry tree in our back yard, inside we have an indoor swing. When I come home to my mom’s home after school or if my dad drops me off, I hear my brother playing, laughing, crying and sleeping sometimes, usually he’s still in daycare. Every night at diner when I'm in my mom’s home I feed my bunny. I give her new hay, new water, new pellets, and I clean around her litter box. Both my homes are safe and cozy. I feel like I belong in my homes. Some people don’t have a home, I can’t imagine what it would feel like to not have a home. My favorite thing in my home is my family and my memories, I can’t imagine what it would feel like to be taken away from my home. I love my home.
