The Meaning of Home

After a long day in school the scent of my moms fresh cookies lightens my spirit and when I go to my backyard I see the old worn hutch of my rabbit. When I open the hutch and refill his water I see the lumps of hay that he sleeps on. When i come back inside i see my tv and sit on my old couch and as I walk in my sock feet up stairs i hear the washing machine humming and washing our clothes our guest room was facing was a view of more houses and the sun in the afternoon light up the stairs making them look golden and shining when i go to my room i see my made bed and my desk with my laptop sitting on it. When I come down for dinner I smell the fresh pasta and the sauce. I sit down and laugh with my family. For different families it may be the sound of your dog or cat's claws clicking on the floor coming to greet you. When we think of home we might think of a house, however a home is where your parents support you if you get hurt at school they can cuddle you and help you through life's bumps and ditches. This is my meaning of home and i hope we all can feel safe with our parents
