What Home Means to Me!

A house is just a structure, just four walls, just a roof over our heads. It’s also something unseen that means entirely nothing to us. A home is different, you know that it is safe and secure, you’ve made memories there, laughed, loved, and played, but when you move out of your home and into a house like any other, its like all the safety and security that you once felt has been washed away. Something crucial that makes a house a home to me is my Family! if I ever had to move anywhere, I would want my family with me, I think it’ll be much easier to settle in with people that you know and love. My family is incredibly non-judgmental, and I love hanging out with them! Home to me is also when it’s snowing and I am tobogganing with my friends on the hills in my neighbourhood or when it’s too cold and I’m inside snuggling with my blanket, and some Hot chocolate by the fireplace. Home to me Is also when it’s (Blazing) hot outside and the Ice cream truck drives to our neighbourhood and all the kids come running out to have Ice Cream to cool down from the heat! Home to me Is also when I’m in my room reading in my book nook next to my window. Home can mean different things to different people; home doesn’t even have to really be physical structures! It can be a thing or maybe a place in your heart! every home is special, and we all deserve a home. everybody, everywhere! Sharing what home means to you, could help someone else get a home. That’s what a home is to me! What is a home for you?
