House and Homes Poem
Houses are four walls and a roof.
Often, houses are dull and empty when they have no owner.
Usually, houses are places you eat and sleep and stay in for shelter.
Sometimes, houses can be homes but homes don’t have to be houses.
Everyone should deserve a strong house and a warm home to feel comfortable in.
Homes are welcoming and alive with joy.
Other than houses, homes always have someone always there, whether you are happy or sad.
My home is welcoming because my family is always there for me.
Every home doesn’t have to be physical, homes can also be a special person or an object.
So, to me, a home is somewhere I make memories, celebrate traditions, and feel loved by others.
I hope that in the future everyone would have a strong house to live in, and a welcoming home to feel loved by others.
Thank you, habitat for humanity!
