What Home Means to Me

Home to me is my red couch. It is really soft and comfortable, and whenever I lie down on it I can smell a berry scented candle coming from my kitchen. When I sit on the couch I like to eat popcorn and drink hot chocolate while watching the TV. The warmth, the cozy cushions, the sounds, and the smells all make me feel like I’m truly at home. Sometimes I even curl up with a blanket and listen to music or read a book there. My favorite thing to do on my couch is hang out with my family, laugh, and watch TV together. It’s the place where I can relax after a long day, feel safe, and just be myself. Whenever I think of home, my red couch is the first thing that comes to mind because it’s where I feel the happiest and most comfortable. What does home mean to you?
