The Meaning of Home

“Home isn’t a place on a map; home is in your heart.” Home is a place of peace. It’s where you can have both good days and bad days, but still feel loved all the time. Home is where you enjoy movie nights, host big parties, and have slumber parties where your parents embarrass you in front of your friends. It’s where your bed is, with the comfy mattress and the pillow that hugs your head— the place where you hear snoring and all the ZZZZZZZZZ’s. Home is where you have nightmares, and your parents are always there for you, right beside you. Home is the place where your parents are to give you a nice, warm hug after a bad day This is what home is to me.
