Home is Being with your Family

Home is not just a house. Home is somewhere you feel safe or loved by your family. Not just when you come to furniture. Home is somewhere you can come back to, so home means being with your family. When I come home from school, I smell my mom and dad making homemade food and I see my cat waiting for me to be to be home from school. Whenever I come home, I feel loved because I get a hug from my family. I see my brother playing hockey, my mom watching a movie, and my dad playing video games. Some of the special memories we have are my auntie's wedding, and when we went to the amusement park, Tinker town. I felt loved because I was with my family! Having my family beside me for my entire life makes this the best life ever. If we go on vacation, even if we leave our house, I am still at home because I am with my family. So even if we are overseas, I am still at home. My family is the best family in the world. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for building a lot of homes for people and families who don’t have homes.
