Home
I never thought about where my home was. I thought it was the Philippines, just cause it was my nationality. But I also thought to myself, is it really? I've never been there. It has to be Dubai. I've been living there for my whole life. Until I was 6. I knew a home was a place you feel safe in, but I was moving places to Canada. Me as a 7-year-old, I thought I would never see the place that I called home again. But now I'm in my home, it's not about your nationality or if you've been living there your whole life. Home is about feeling safe, living with your family. A home doesn't have to be a house; it can be anything. In my house, I always smell my mom cooking, and I always hear my dad playing his guitar. That's my home. I would like to thank Habitat for Humanity for giving people a chance to have what I have.
