The Meaning of Home

Home is a place of love. Home is a place of peace. Home is where you come when you're on your highest highs and lowest lows. You can see the togetherness in the table that everyone has to clean. You can feel the love at movie night when everyone is cracking jokes. You can smell the teamwork in the food we eat every night because everyone helped make dinner. You can taste the friendship in the delicious ginger snaps because everyone made one. You hear the family as we talk about hockey at the dinner table. Can you see a pattern? Everything needs to be together. Without the togetherness the table is just some wood and bolts. The movie is just a movie. The food tastes awful. Cookies, I can't even make cookies. Hockey! I would have never even touched the ice. That is why home isn't home if you don't have togetherness.
