A Loving Home
The meaning of home is a place where you feel like you belong and feel loved, like my mom’s cooking with a kick of spice. Pictures also hold a lot of memories, like the first flip I did on the trampoline. Home is a place where we can eat our meals together. Home is trying something new like doing crafts, painting, learning a new language and making new forts. I cherish eating our great meals together. When I walk in my house, I feel warmth and love as my sister welcomes me. I feel like I belong, feel support, and comfortable when I'm around my family. Home is somewhere I can express my feelings without getting judged. I love it when it’s calm and quiet so I can be wrapped around my warm soft white blank playing chess with my dad. On the weekend, my mom makes my favorite dish, lumpia. They are like spring rolls. My favorite thing to do is to change into my pajamas and watch tv with a big bowl of popcorn. I love coming home after a long day of school and relax. I love playing Playdoh with my sister Samantha in a blanket fort that I made especially for my sister. Early in the morning, I start cooking scrambled eggs for my dad and I. Home is a place I trust and cherish with love. I feel like home is wrapped around me, like my baby sister giving me a big hug. In the morning, I hear the sweet bacon sizzling in the pan and the delicious smell in the kitchen.
A home and a family can be anywhere.
