Meaning of Home

Home is more than just a place, it's a feeling. I feel calm and appreciated by everyone by my surroundings. When I walk through the door, I know that I can relax myself by having a nap or getting myself a glass of water. At home, I make memories that I will always linger in the back of my mind. Even small moments like watching a movie feels special. Home also gives me a sense of belonging. It's a place where I'm understood and supported. Having the support of other people that care about me. I feel safe by having people by my side when I accomplish something, or they help me for things that I don't understand. I love my home, it's full of all of the memories that we make. School is like a second home to me because of how often I go. I learn important lessons about kindness and respect. My teachers and friends help me and understand if I'm going through something. It's also a place where I can grow and learn new things. I'm encouraged to try new things even if I mess up the first time. Home is the place where my day begins. In the morning, I wake up feeling protected and ready to start the day. I prepare myself before leaving knowing I have a home to return to that helps me feel confident and strong. The familiar spaces help me concentrate and I could focus way easier. I can relax and share my thoughts while enjoying time with my family. I always feel safe and comfortable no matter what day I have had. Home helps me feel balanced and gets me ready to face new challenges. It's also a place where traditions are formed, like weekly habits or small activities that bring everyone together. I have space to explore my interests, practice skills and discover what I enjoy doing the most. Home gives me a sense of stability that helps me feel ready to face challenges in the future. Home and house are not the same things. Home is a place with meaning and love but on the other hand, a house is just a place with walls and a roof where you can take shelter. Both are good places to take shelter but I prefer a home because it's full of love. To me, home is not just a house, it's a feeling of warmth, love and safety that will stay with me forever.
