What Home Means To Me

Home isn’t just a building, it’s where family is. It’s where you can be comforted, share favourite memories, and laugh. Home is where you should feel safe. I like dinner time because we can tell each other about our day. In the kitchen my Mom makes delicious meals. I love helping make dinner. One of my favourite meals my mom makes is pasta salad. I love my family so dearly. They encourage me and enjoy doing it. They help me with music practice and they help me with homework. In July, it's a tradition that we go to a cottage with our family. The main reason we go to a cottage is so we can spend family time together. My favourite activity to do at a cottage is going swimming. I like playing around in the water with my family. I enjoy playing board games with my family. Some board games I like playing with my family are Life, Clue, Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, and card games. But our favourite game to play together is Ticket to Ride. I love spending a cold day by the fireplace snuggling with family all warm and cozy. I also like playing out in the snow with my sister. When we come inside we usually get hot chocolate.
