What Home Means to Me
My home is everything. It's where I took my first steps and said my first words. My home has a roof to keep me dry from bad weather like tornadoes, hurricanes and/or floods and pouring rain.
I love my home because I have a couch, tv, a bed to sleep in, and the internet. I also always have food to eat, and a fridge to keep my food fresh for meals, and just to eat if I'm hungry.
My home is beautiful. I can see grass and birds and clouds outside. I can hear the birds chirping and singing joyfully. I can see dogs and cats in the windows. I can see my neighbors waving at me. I also love going to the park with my friends and family.
In my home I see my cats and hear them meowing and purring. I can hear my sister on her iPad. I also hear my brother playing with his cars. My friends come over sometimes, and we play games and do crafts. I can play and I can sing. My home is where I study and do my homework. My home is my safe place. My home is a place I can express myself whenever I want. My home is like my own bakery. I make cookies and cakes and many more. My home is where I make special memories with my family.
Not everybody has a home. Your grandma has a home. Your grandpa has a home. But some people don’t. So that is why you should be happy, because you have a roof over your head.
