What Home Means to Me
Home is where I make memories with my family like movie night, playing board games, baking with my mom, and playing Mario Kart.
Let me tell you what I do on my movie nights. First my mom and dad set my living room up like a movie theater. They move my little table to the corner of my living room and add all the snacks like popcorn and candy on the little table. Well, my dad sets the table up, my mom prints out tickets for us to give to them to watch the movie. Next, we come downstairs and collect our candy and popcorn and pick our movie.
Home is also a place where you can feel loved, safe and comfortable. It's also where you get a comfy bed. My mom makes me feel safe and comfortable because she cares for me when I am scared, worried or sad. Home is also where I took my first steps and said my first words, like mama or dada.
Home is a place where you have fresh drinking water so then you're not dehydrated it's also where I have my meals. My home has delicious food that my mom and dad buy from the grocery store, but they also make my food too. Some of the foods they make for me and my siblings are broccoli cheddar rice, spaghetti, pizza and ramen noodles.
I am so grateful to have a loving, beautiful and kind family that bought my home for my siblings. Thanks so much mom and dad!
This is why I love my home!
