What Home Means to Me
Home for me means to chill or hang out with my amazing family. I play Mario with my mom and sisters. We also play Uno and Battleship. It is fun. We also watch movies. We are watching Young Sheldon, but my younger sister always talks during movies. It can be annoying, but I am still glad that she is my sister and that I have a home.
I am glad that I have a home full of food, water, and family. I have a bedroom to myself, and we have three televisions. I appreciate that I have a safe home. And I don’t need to worry about anything because my neighbourhood is safe. My house has two fireplaces to keep us warm. And my house isn’t freezing cold. Our fireplaces are on almost all day.
My house is cozy. I like that I have three couches and my own Nintendo. My family leaves me alone when I want to relax and chill. But sometimes I get interrupted because I have to do some chores. My neighbours are nice, and they give us warm things during winter. My grandma used to knit winter clothes for us, and they were cozy and fluffy and kept us warm.
Sometimes my mom tells my sisters and me we need to do chores. Sometimes we fight over who gets to do the top or bottom on the dishwasher. We don’t really like laundry because we have so much to do, and we have to put it all in our room. And then we pick up our toys. That takes us a while sometimes. My sisters and I are a team doing chores even though we fight sometimes. But we still love each other and forgive each other and go play.
