What home means to me
What home means to me
My home is the only place I feel comfortable.
I am lucky to have a cozy house.
It would be great if everyone had a special place to be cozy, safe, and happy.
In our special place, we feel loved, happy, and sometimes even grateful.
I hope everyone is soon able to experience this.
Being safe.
Being happy.
Feeling grateful.
A house is not as comfortable as my home.
When I get home, I always smell my mom cooking fresh meals.
I feel delighted when I take a bite of my mom’s homemade dumplings.
I hear my family’s happy chattering when we sit down.
I see my little sister, smiling to greet me as I get home from school.
We always feel love from each other, and from everyone around us.
We are comfortable.
We are lucky.
We are loved.
A house is not even similar to a home.
Houses are filled with people.
Homes are filled with love and family.
Home is filled with my family’s laughter and entertaining activities.
Houses have other people’s family and have nothing really entertaining.
Houses have cold, hard walls.
Homes have warm, soft walls.
Homes are filled with laughter,
entertainment,
and family.
I would like to change the world.
I hope Habitat for Humanity will provide warm houses for everyone.
Home is everyone’s place.
Home is my favourite place.
