What Home Means

My home is special to me because it's my life. It's where my glowing heart beats at its peak. I can see, feel and know that we are all loved in my home, and we are all loyal, respectful and kind. In my living room, we open up, tell stories and make unforgettable memories. The people who sit in the living room, give the home its life and personality. It's all about the moments we share and the times we love. In my kitchen, I smell the magnificent smell of the food my mom makes. When I am helping my mom cooking, she guides me in a way that no one else can. In my backyard when it's winter, my brother and I play. We make tracks in the snow from our sleds and watch our footprints. In the summer, I play cricket with my dad and soccer with my brother and cousin. Upstairs is where I play my games in my room. I feel safe and free from anything bad in the world in there. My happy place. My home is the place where we are all valued.
