The Meaning of Home
The meaning of home for me isn't something physical, it's a feeling: knowing that you are safe, you're loved and you belong. In my home there are lots of pictures on the wall, all memories, and special moments to remember. Birthdays, family gatherings or vacations, all those warm special moments captured into pictures of those memories to treasure forever.
Another thing I like about my home are the sounds, especially when the birds are chirping. Every morning I wake up to a brand-new original song with different birds and harmonies that is a sound that always reminds me of home. A part of the feeling of home to me is the sense of togetherness and the connection of all the wonderful people in my home. I often bounce on the trampoline with my sister or my friends. There have been so many fun memories and moments of togetherness. The stuff like that is home to me.
My family likes to play board games. We get competitive but it’s definitely still fun. We’ll all meet up at my home, have some tea or coffee chat for a little bit then we’ll get into the games! All that cheery laughter and bickering is just another part of home. And in the evening my mom, my sister, my dog and I will snuggle up with lots of blankets and pillows on the couch and we tell each other about our day or watch our favorite TV show. All these special moments combined into one beautiful, safe, loving, amazing feeling is the meaning of home to me! Thank you♥.
