Dania’s What Home means to me!

My home means support , safety , laughter filling rooms , there’s new opportunities everyday! You see , all these character traits have backgrounds , and today you’ll get to know some things about my life! My family supports me every second of my life , but one of the times I felt most supported was when I got a high grade on my report card. My family was so proud of me , just like they’re proud of me whenever I do something out of my limits! Maybe I didn’t know how to do it , maybe I didn’t want to do it , but when I put my mind to it I can achieve it! My home always feels safe , not just because it’s warm , but because the people in it. I feel like I’m safe with my family because I’ve known them since birth. It doesn’t mean I’m not thankful for my home , it just means I’m really thankful for my family! Everyday I come back from school to a home filled with laughter , delicious smells , and meaningful conversations! After every conversation we have , there’s more laughter and a lot of memories that have been built over the minutes! When I walk into my house and see all the pillows on the family sofa , I feel grateful I even have a home .Whenever my family smells the delicious food that my mom made, we set the table and have small conversations that might not mean much, but they will when we are grownups! There' s so many opportunities in my house that give me chances to learn more, and build up my knowledge! I’m very grateful because I have opportunities to learn things like , how to fold clothes, wash dishes , do laundry, and organize all sorts of things! Thank you Letter to Habitat for Humanity!
