Just One Hug
I wake up and I go to my kitchen. I see my mom there making pancakes. The sound of the hissing in the pan, the sunshine in the distance, a breezing in my face coming through the window that open a smidge. But I need just one hug! Soon it's lunch, yummmm, so good. Sandwich smells fill the air, spending time with family outside on a picnic. But just one more hug. Now it is supper. The chicken, broccoli, and more fills me up so much with love. It's time to go to bed. The lights turn off, my cat goes on my bed, and just before I drift to sleep, my mom and dad come into the room and give me my loving, caring, filling, hug. I love my home.
