Why I Feel Safe at Home

I feel safe and at home anywhere in the world, even if I’m not home. Having my family with me makes me feel safe, secure, and able to express my feelings. Being safe for me, is that even if we’re not in one big group, we’re still together either way. Some of my special memories are when I won a medal and my family was able to watch, travel all over the world to Florida and visit Disney world, going to Winnipeg Jets hockey games and the Manitoba Moose hockey games. One of my favorite events is when I go to visit my grandma at her house for Christmas because we do many things like play at play parks, relaxing and going out to restaurants together. I love it there because the beds are comfy. I love being with my grandparents because even if they are not a direct family, we’re still family. Thank you to all my family for being able to live in a safe home, for giving me the best life that I could have and to be able to have family and friends over to play together.
