The Place That Stays with Me

Home is not just wood and stone, it's the place where I am known. Not for standing out or above, but for being myself and still loved. It's laughter filling up the space, and quiet moments I can't replace. I don't have to hide or try too hard, I feel safe the second I step in the yard. Home is where my memories stay, in small, bright pieces of each day. In normal moments, calm and slow, they mean more than I always show. They don't just disappear or fade, they're little treasures that we've made. They make me smile, they make me warm, like a steady light in any storm. One day I hope my future family will find a home that brings this same peace of mind. A place where they're safe, where they belong, where they'll grow up confident and strong. I hope every kid, wherever they roam, can feel this same comfort inside their home. Because home is more than a place you see, it's the place that stays with you, like it does with me.
