Best Place Ever

By, Jocelyn My home isn’t just a regular home, my home is where I feel safe and there is laughter. I can remember the day when my family went to meet our baby brother and I can also remember the days we played games for new year. My family and I love to play the game that my dad got from Germany when he was still young. We love to play the game for new years, or sometimes for Christmas. My four sisters and I love to help my mom make borscht for dinner. Borscht is a soup that my mom used to eat when she was a kid. When the borscht is boiling, I can smell it, which makes me want to eat it. Borscht tastes very yummy and our family loves it especially me. My family loves to cuddle on our soft couches and read the bible together. When we do that, I feel safe because it is where I belong and I can enjoy the time with my family. My family and I also love to go on trips for example we love to go to Florida or sometimes to Saskatchewan to visit my cousins. We also love to go on bike rides. Home is a place where I feel very safe and happy.
