Home

Home is a wonderful place I can feel safe and cared for. When I feel down I can visit home to life me up. At first I pondered to myself, What is a home?’ It’s not where you sleep or eat. To me, a home is a place I feel cozy and safe, and most importantly, it’s where my loved ones are. Every day when I come back from school I sit at my kitchen counter doing homework, but what brings me so much joy and warmness is my mom’s cooking I can smell from miles away. After I finish my homework I melt into my couch and curl up into a ball and watch a show with my family. To be home you don’t always have to be next to your loved ones, they can be deep down in your heart too!
