The sky is the limit
What home means to me is the people inside it and the safety. I wrote a poem so you could really see, truly, deeply what home means to me.
Home is a place very special to me. Home is a place where I can feel free. A place where nobody can tell me who I need to be. Inside my home lives my mom, my dad, my sister and me. Without these people, home would feel empty. Inside your home, you might make a mistake, make a mess. But no need to fret home is a place full of love and forgiveness. I do my best not to take things for granted. But it’s hard to when each great memory in your head just gets planted. Staying in your mind forever until you forget. Sometimes we need to be more thankful of what we get. Whenever I’m troubled, I go to my mom. She’s important because we all need people to depend on. My dad and I have a lot in common. That’s important because then we won’t fight very often. My sister and I have had a lot of fun together. She’s important and I hope we can have fun forever. And I can never forget Jacob, my dog. He’s important because he’s never failed to make me feel better when I’m not. All these people are what makes my home special and unique.
