What If We Never Had a Home

Home in my eyes comes naturally you just need to find it through the things you love, protect, and cherish. I feel at home when my family watches a movie together. I think of home when there is sometimes no arguing. When we play catch, swim, and in general play, it makes me feel at home. A house doesn’t have feelings that a home has. A house is empty when you come back from work and it feels depressing, lonely, and like a piece of your life is missing. Your home may not be a house but that doesn’t mean it can't become a home. When your away from home it still comes with you because with your family’s home can be anywhere. A home is a place where you hold the good and bad memories. Home is where I get in trouble and when I do, I learn from my mistakes. It's where I cook pizza with my Mom and play on the trampoline and swim with my Dad and get annoyed by my two older siblings! That's why I think home comes naturally! Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for helping make homes for other families possible!
