Dear Home
Tap tap tap. When rain falls, Dear home, you put a roof over my head. Dear home, my domain where I roam, you keep me warm and bring me joy. This is the place where I grew up, this is the place I go to when I’m cold. I once thought Disneyland was good, but I guess home Is better. Moonlight shines through the window making it dark but still bright at the same time. The twinkling lights are reflecting off the mirror. The darkest night will always have a light through the door, leading me home. Dear home, you hold my family in your hands. You are like a mansion, big and strong, like shining gold. I can sleep peacefully and dream big.
Dear home, When I go out and play, if I get hurt, I can come back to heal. home will catch me if I fall and hug me if I’m sad. Home is strong and sturdy. When I am discouraged, my family will encourage me, and home will stand by me.
Dear home, When I am hungry, home has cabinets filled with yummy snacks. I grab some and sit on the chairs and eat on the tables. Home has a garden as beautiful as the northern lights. We only need as much as we need.
Dear home, I could sing and dance and be who I am. The glowing aura gives me strength. The one cruel world is now the most gorgeous. Dear home, you saved me from what I feared.
Oh, dear home, I climb up but will fall. You will stay alive for long but will fall sooner. Nobody is immortal. Oh dear home, stand up for a bit longer.
