Home is where I come alive

Home is not an ordinary house or place. Home is not something you can duplicate, instead it’s something special, something amazing, something extraordinary. Home is where I come alive and just be me. Home is all the laughter in the house. Home is when my family is at the dinner table. We share stories about school and laugh. Home is snuggling, squishing and burying myself in my stuffies. To me snuggling with my family is also home. Home is family wherever we are. Home is all the memories made with family. Home is when I walk into my Oma and Opa’s house. All my worries go away. My Oma always gives us Nutella on a piece of bread for breakfast that for me is the taste of home. Time with them is always fun. Home for me it’s definitely when my adorable bunny licks me. Home is also when he runs around me begging for food or attention. Home is when and where I feel loved and cared for. My family helps me feel like I matter and don’t need to prove myself. And I can just be me I don’t need to be someone else to matter. I love playing games as a family like Dutch blitz and code names for me any time my family gets together is home. Home is also my church. It’s where I let all my feelings out. My church is where I remember why I exist. My church has music and music is home for me. In my opinion it’s the best music. I feel at peace in my church. My church is not very pretty and fancy, but I love it, and it’s verry special to me. You could never duplicate it.
