Meaning of Home

I'm Nola and when I think of home I don’t just think of the house it’s self I think of what’s in the house too, like my family. To me, my family is my home. My home is safe, fun, kind, and more. My home has so many memories. My memories are Christmas, Easter, celebrations, summers, getting food with my family, and of course birthdays! For Easter we go to grandparents house and do a scavenger hunt. For the scavenger hunt, they give me, my sister, and my cousins a piece of paper with the things we need to find. For example, a red chocolate egg. You must find it somewhere in the house. We all get different things. I have so many feelings when I’m at home. I’m usually excited and happy but sometimes I'm mad or sad. I get into lots of fights with my sister but then we make up and then we play Roblox. We play Dress To Impress. If you don’t know what Dress To Impress is, you must dress as best as you can to the theme and if you do, you win FIRST PLACE. There are three places depending on how many people there are in the game. Let’s say there are thirteen people. Whoever dresses the worst and is rated only one star gets thirteenth place. My home makes me happy. It’s the most warm and comfy place in the world. I love being at home. It’s a place where I feel safe and hopeful. I'm so lucky to have a home like this with all my family members.
