A Community of Caring Homes
To me, home is really just feelings. My home has many different feelings; like the feeling of love. For me, home is made of love. I also feel safe at home. I also know that there are different homes in this world and therefore different feelings. People live in different conditions, in different places, and in different families. Other people describe their home differently, and also the same as another person. Home is not just one thing, feeling of place; it is everything you can think of. It is happy, relaxed, acknowledged, and loved. It can also have some unhappy feelings like sadness, exhaustion, madness, and depression. Lots of homes can be like that. The thing about home is that it always perseveres to be happy again. Some people love their home but then they have to leave, and they are scared and probably sad too, but that is why there is always a community around a home, to support and hold it up with everyone else alongside it. Homes hold each other up by asking if they are okay or asking if they need help. Sometimes they just go over and spend time with them. Young families can help older families by shoveling their driveway or helping them go up the stairs. By helping with one little thing you can build more friendships. That is why my wish is to be one of those homes that hold others up. To make sure that everyone is okay and happy.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for always holding up so many families.
