What Home Means To Me

Home means family, being able to have a home and have a place to sleep and always feeling safe. Home is family that will always help you when you’re down, they are always with you no matter what. Memories are the ones that make a house a house, you will never forget the things that you did as a child to then be able to tell those stories when you get older. Having those late nights with your friends or parents. Birthdays are what brings so much joy to having long memories because so many people come to celebrate just you that you are enjoying yourself so much for so long that when your birthday comes you can't wait to do it again. To have a home you need family. If you don't have a family you will never be the person that you were supposed to be. Your parents are the ones that make you who you are by making you become the best child they can have. Your siblings yes, they can be annoying but they are the ones that make you strong and tough to defend yourself by getting into those fights with them. They are the ones that make you the person you are. Travel is one of the things you should have and not stay in a house all day always being on electronics. Travel is the thing that gets you wanting to be an active kid. Taking those long trips is what makes you never forget your home. I hope that someone from Habitat for Humanity will choose this Essay because I think that everyone, no matter who you are, should be able to have a house and be able to become the person they were meant to be.
