Homegrown Home

My home isn’t just an ordinary place like four walls and a roof. It is a place where I make most of my memories. I have lived in my home for my whole life. And that won’t change in the next couple of years (I hope). In my home there are usually smells like fresh juicy food out of the oven like muffins, cookies, lasagna, etc. that mama makes for my family and other people. For me, home is falling asleep easily. I am happy that my home is warm and safe. home is where I listen to Christian music sometimes with my family and sometimes by myself and sing along. There are six people in my family my mama, my papa, my oldest sister in grade ten, my only brother in grade eight, my other older sister in grade seven, then me in grade five, and finally my dog Tucker who is one year old and is a Shih Tzu. That is my awesome family. In my home I feel free. The comfortable couches and beds make me feel at home. At home it is the time to be myself, the part that makes me feel like me. Some days my home gets left alone but we always return. My favorite spot in my home is my bed I love sleeping, it makes me happy. In the summer we are in the back yard having fun. In the winter we have an awesome toboggan slide to go on. Another part I like is that sometimes as a family we can watch a video or a movie in the evening. Plus eat popcorn and drink hot chocolate. Home is my happy place, it’s my masterpiece. That is what I wanted to share about my fantastic home.
