Meaning of Home

What is a home? Well it’s not just a place with furniture right? Every home has something that makes it feel like well… a home. The thing that fills a home is LOVE. Your family loves you very much and that’s why your house feels like a home. You know the saying “home sweet home?” Well, people use that phrase after coming home from a trip, work or school. But have you ever thought about the meaning of that phrase? It's simple, -it’s coming back to your sweet home, a place where you feel safe and loved and included, -that is YOUR home, not anyone else's. When you're at home good and bad things can happen. Here are examples. Your parents might surprise you with your first car, that memory would be at your home. Unfortunately bad things can happen as well like finding out you have to move because of your parent’s jobs. That can be really tough. Especially after how many memories you have made. But don’t let that stop you from having fun and creating a new home. Some memories will be at your old house but there are plenty to be made in the new one, as long as you give it love. Your friends can help you decorate your new bedroom and that is a first memory you would have in a new house. Not too bad, huh? With the help of people who love you, and you love them, any place you once called a house is now a home.
