A House is a House Until You Make it a Home

My home is a place where I feel safe. It's the place where I sleep, wake up, and have dinner with my family. Home is the place where we argue and make up, you fight and make up. At times when you feel like you will never talk again, a minute later, you see yourself having a full-on conversation with them without even knowing, and forget about the argument and make up. My home is the place I live and spend my time in, the place I go when I'm tired, need a nap, or to eat food when I'm hungry. The place where you can let your heart out after a long day. You can't forgive just anyone, but you can definitely forgive the people in your home. They were the people who were there for you since day one, the people who were waiting outside the hospital room, hearing your cries. The people that you spend your first birthday with, the lady who held you for 9 months, and the people who saw your first steps and first words. The place where every day is a new chaotic day. You're not comfortable everywhere, but you are in your home.
