What is Home to me

A home is not just a building, or four walls that stand tall and strong. A home is a place where you can relax, rest on a coach or a sofa after a long day. A home is where my family laughs and plays games. A home is a place my dog can play, and my geckos can roam. A home is where I can truly be myself. A home where all our memories are made and special pictures hang on the wall. My home is a place where my mom always has her candles lit to fill the air with joy. Our home can be a quiet and peaceful place, or loud and crazy with lots of laughter. A home is where I always feel safe and protected. My home always makes me feel better when I am sick. My home is where my Nana is only a few steps away. A home is where we laugh a lot. A home is where the fridge is always full and the cupboard always has some really great snacks. A home is a place where my brother teases me. A home is where I can sit on the couch with my Dad and Brother Noah and watch our favourite football team play. A home is where I can play video games with my friends. A home is where we can gather around the table for big dinners. My home is always a place where friends and family are welcome. My home has a big backyard where my brother Noah and I play football and soccer. My home has a pool where all my friends like to come over to swim. A home is where the important bonds of family come together and grow. I love my home.
