ቤቴ ከጡብ በላይ ነው

Home is where our story begins… To some, they just see bricks and cement, but to me it’s love, laughter, fights here and there, memories, happiness, and most of all your family. My home is where I can be myself, a place where I can be weird without getting judged, a place that I can ask anyone anything without feeling stupid. And I am forever grateful. My parents and brother moved here from Ethiopia to Canada hoping for a better life and I don't know what life would have been like in Ethiopia, but if they moved all the way across the world then I know it was for a good reason. A house is a structure, but a home is what a house will never be. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people homes and hope.
