Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is a place where I can be myself and share my thoughts and feelings. Home is the place that can’t be replaced and when I am sad I think of my happy place which is home. To me home tastes like fresh baked cookies that mom just pulled out of the oven. Home smells like a hot cooked meal that is being served on my favorite pink plate. Home feels like jumping in a pool after a hot summer day. Home sounds like my sister and I playing with dolls while my mom and dad are cleaning and cooking. My home looks like freedom where I can be carefree. My favourite memory of home is when my mom and dad brought my sister Emmy home for the very first time. She was so little and I could not wait for her to get bigger so we could play. Another memory of home is playing card games with everyone and I won. Home is the best place to be because it is where my family is and it is my safe space.
