Meaning of Home

It was a sunny summer afternoon in Halifax N.S. Clara,Joseph,my mom and I were in my mom’s car going to the Waegwoltic, to go swimming and have lunch. On the way Clara’s and my favorite singer played on the radio. When we got to the Waeg the car and the music stopped. I opened the door, so Clara and me jumped out of the car. My mom said me and Clara could go off by are selfs. We went off down the path to get lunch. It was busy when we got to the cafe. I could smell french fries and hot dogs. For lunch we both got chicken tenders and fries and for dessert I had ice cream and Clara had a croissant. When we finished our dessert we went to get changed into our swim suits. There are three swimming pools. We went to the first pool. We swam in the first pool for a bit .Then went to the second pool. Soon after that Joseph said it was time to go. Home to me is not a place, it's a feeling and being with the people that make you happy. Having fun,having support and knowing that I don’t have to be scared.
