Home is more than a building

Home isn't just a building home is where I feel safe. I was just 9 when I traveled. I felt excited being on a plane. When moving from my country I felt sad, but I still felt happy being in Canada. Entering a new house, that's when the journey began with days, months passing while making new friends. Walking in my room- Picture this; feeling mad, stressed, sad or anything. when I feel like any of that, I just enter my room and just fall on my cozy, fuzzy bed and it makes me feel better. My home might not be big, but it’s filled with love. When I take a step inside my house the first thing I smell is my mom cooking some of our Nigerian foods and I hear my little brothers playing around with laughter coming from the dinner table. Home isn’t just a building. Home means so much to many people. Some people around the world don't even have a home. If you have a home, no matter the size, always be grateful for what you have.
