What Home Means to Me!
My home isn't just a home. It's where all my memories are shared. Where my cat Oliver sprawls out on my bed. I read my favorite books and my mom reads in her library with all the pictures of her favorite books. My Mom lays in her lounge chair listening to calm quiet music. I smell the scent of Daddy baking warm cookies. I run down the stairs to grab a bite. And when I'm sad or scared I have my parents to support me. When Oliver starts meowing cutely it makes me laugh so hard. But when I yell up to my parents trying to grab Oliver's cat food. Well Oliver meows at me. I say “Your food is coming”. When he's fed, I look at all the family photos of me when I was 3. But now I'm in grade four and I'm nine turning ten and my name is Avery! And when Oliver plays with his brown and white cat he acts like it's his little baby. And I love that Habitat for Humanity is doing this for people. I want to thank Habitat for Humanity for making houses for people in need.
