Home Equals Home

My home feels… Safe, Cozy, Fun, and amazing to be in. Why? When I walk into my home sometimes I hear my mom talking on the phone about work, school, and parent stuff like that. Home means a lot to me. When I go lie down in my bed to have a quick drouse, I wake up and I smell fresh yummy chocolate chip peanut butter cookies coming straight out of the warm oven! I come down stairs to see the beautiful heart shaped cookies, I ask, “can I PLEASE have one?” She says, “no not until after the yummy dinner I have coming up” I think for a minute. How much I love home. Home is safe. I feel like my home is safe because of my parents always listening to me and what I have to say, or helping me with my homework, they always know how to. Home might feel like a house to you, or it might feel like a place, or a store, or maybe you have two homes like one in a different place then the other, but home to me feels like I can share my feelings, or how my day was at school. My home is safe and I FOR SURE know that. I get up to pet my dog as she barks and spins around, I lay down on the couch and watch a show while my mom and dad cook dinner for me to enjoy. This is what home means to me. I love being there!!
