Meaning Of Home

Home to me means a place where you can be comfortable and not worry about danger. You need a home or wild animals will attack you or there might be bad weather such as snow and rain which could give you hypothermia or lead you to death. Even in your house there are dangers once a racoon somehow got into my house and started eating through walls and furniture, so we had to get stuff fixed. This relates to my idea above because it proves sometimes your house can also get dangers in it. A few dangers that might be in your home are insects or wild animals and fire. Once my basement flooded at my old house due to pipes bursting so my family and I had to move out and it wasn't clean water. It was sewage water and since it was our basement, we couldn't get to the washer and dryer because it was in there, so we had to use my aunt and uncles. My basement flooding made me realize that no matter if you are in a home or not that bad and dangerous things can still happen such as fires, floods, pipes bursting and worse. Approximately 50,800 houses burn down a year and 1 billion houses a year flood which causes many people to not have homes or some people do not have enough money due or get evicted. Many people and pets die from not having homes due to weather, wild animals and many more dangers.
