The True Meaning of Home

To me, home means a place where you are safe and loved because you need both of those things in your life. These matter because if you are not safe then you would be living in an unsafe environment for your entire life. One time when I was at my house there was a thunderstorm and I was really scared because I hate storms. During the storm my mom was beside me the entire time. She was there comforting me because she loves me. That is how I know home is love. I knew home was safety when one day the power went out and all we had was lanterns and flashlights and we survived. So, after this experience I for sure knew home means safety. Both of these two moments matter to the meaning of home because these teach and explain what and why this is the meaning of home and what it could look like to you. To me these two moments prove why I think that home means safety and love. I also know that this is what I would want for my meaning of home. This is why and how I know the meaning of home is safety and love.
