My Home, My Heart

Home is more than a roof over my head. It’s a place I feel loved and safe. When I walk in, I feel the warm heat on my face. You can flop on the couch in the living room after a long day of school. I’m grateful for having a heater in my home. When I go into the kitchen I smell my mom’s cooking. And I feel grateful that I have food for my family. I go into my bedroom and I play my music. I draw with my brother. I am grateful to have a nice bed to sleep in. Home is in my heart and so is my family. I’m grateful to have a safe and loving home. I hope that everybody has a safe home like me.
