WHAT A HOUSE AND A HOME IS

A house is just a building. It is only a roof over your head. You probably feel scared around a new house and you probably aren't comfortable around it. Since I was born I don’t remember changing from a home to a house but I know it is sad to leave your home behind. A home is totally different than a house, you feel safe in a home. A home is like a cup of hot chocolate, it is cozy and sweet. You probably heard the saying “there is no place like home”. A home is where your family lives. It is where you let out your feelings and emotions. It is like the aroma of roasting marshmallows. A home is like a place where all your dreams come true. When you get home from work or school, your home greets you with a warm hug. It’s where you go to rest, relax, and to be in peace. After a trip I took to a different country I felt sad to leave but I also felt so happy to get back home. You have so many memories in your home from drawing on the walls to playing with your favorite toy to losing your first tooth. That is what I think a house is and a home is.
