My meaning of home

The meaning of home to me is the time I spend with the people I care for like my family. When I am not with my family everywhere just feels empty to me. Like can you imagine dinner or boardgame or any kind of activity without your family, personally I cannot imagine that because they are too important to me. Home is just a building without my family. I am nothing without my family. When I was still in my home country, and in my old home, and when I was still weak and young, I was lifting some 5-pound dumbbells with my dad and younger brother watching from the sidelines. I was trying my best to lift the dumbbells, and I managed to lift them, and they both cheered me on, and I felt a wave of happiness and joy of picking those 5-pound dumbbells. That time was truly magnificent for me, because of my family. It would have felt like just a small accomplishment, but with my family around it felt like a huge feat to me. Because of these people even the smallest things or moments can be a big one with your family is there supporting you throughout your life. Because of this experience, I understand that the meaning of home is where you are with your family. At that time, I never really thought about the meaning of home, but when I replayed that memory in my head, it changed mu current understanding of home. I used to thing home is where you have fun, but it changed when I replayed that memory.
