My Home In Different Seasons

I walk through the front door after soccer, happy to be home. I hear my mom in the kitchen cooking dinner. I feel warm and cozy when I'm sitting on my couch. I smell autumn air and fresh falling leaves. I see my brother sprinting to me after soccer asking me how it was. I taste the warm dinner my mom's cooked for me. This is my home in the fall. I wake up seeing it snowed outside. I hear the crunch of my neighbour's footsteps in the snow. I feel cozy in my bed, gazing out at the winter wonderland. I smell the cold fresh air after I open my window. I see a few snowflakes drifting down. I taste the cinnamon buns my mom's brought up. This is my home in the winter. I come home from a football game on the first day of March break. I hear my mom doing yoga in the basement. I feel tired after running up and down the field. I smell the fresh cut grass with the morning dew. I see flowers coming out of the ground after a long cold winter. I taste grilled cheese and tomato soup, my favourite after football. This is my home in the spring. I come home from summer camp happy to be home. I hear my mom asking how it was. I feel my brother hugging me, happy to see me. I smell the flowers on the table, fragrant and fresh. I see a picture that my brother painted while I was at camp. I taste hot dogs, not quite as good as the camp food though. This is my home in the summer.
