What does home mean to you?
My idea of Home is about my feelings and the people who I care about.
To me, home means the kind of place where you look around and see the people or things that make your life a little easier. Even something small could seem comforting, like my BFDI blanket at home, though it may seem a bit silly. Including my arm pillow that I use whenever I feel overwhelmed. Home can be filled with many special things that are very dear to you even if it doesn’t look like it, whether its video games, pictures, old videos, traditions, etc. Sure, home is a shelter that can be temporary or permanent, but it can still carry the memories and fun moments you had. With the walls filled with old or new pictures, your room having all the stuff that some of your friends or family members gifted you, the nostalgic smells lingering around the house. Maybe you’ll look at a spot in the house and see your younger self, playing, laughing, screaming happily, and so many more. Home is basically your safe place that allows you to be yourself.
To me, stuff that people gift me are important because they’re memories. What’s home like for you?
