The Heart Inside Our Walls

A home is somewhere where you feel safe and protected. In your home, you can be whoever you want. A house is just a place with walls, but a home is special. When I come home, I hear my family talking and laughing in the kitchen. The smell of warm food fills the air, and I know exactly where I belong. In my home, it is clean and smells nice and that makes me feel happy. After a bad day at school, when I get home, I feel way better. My family and I all feel safe when we are in our home. Every night we have delicious warm meals and that makes all of us warm inside. We all have jobs and we all clean our home together. A home is more than a place; it is a feeling of happiness for all of us. I wish everyone in the world could feel the warmth and safety of a real home, because everyone deserves a place where they feel loved.
